Cookies! - Welcome!

If there was one part of Busias XOXO that would make me not only smile infinitely, but make me SO extremely proud, it would be our Cookies. Sure, not everyone can make cookies…but those that can and do it well, they have RAW talent. They have purpose in life. They bring joy to people in their own unique way. This would be Ally, our Cookie Chef. She met Busia Estelle, only briefly when she was a few months old. My Busia in her later years had suffered a stroke that left her unable to walk or talk for a number of years. But that NEVER let her not show anyone her heart and soul, her smile and her eyes lighting up…they told everyone within a small distance how she felt. And when she met Ally…there was no denying how happy she was to meet her for the first time. Her smile was SO ginormous, and her eyes lit up like it was a lighthouse welcoming all the love in her heart to Ally. It is a day I will have etched into my heart forever.

When Ally first started decorating cookies, it was for Christmas. As a family, we took a night out and decorated cookies and delivered them to the Homeless Shelter in our town. Some of us were a little challenged in decorating…but Ally. It was like a fish in water when she did her cookies. And then she blossomed from there. She homed in on her skillset, and began absorbing every cookie and video there was. And then the most etheral thing happened. She made up a recipe that was just like Busia Estelle had made. She did this all on her own with no heirloom recipe at all, this was her just creating her cookie recipe. I was literally SO amazed!

She is our #1 Cookie Chef! Her cookies are not only buttery, but look so cute! She takes inspiration pictures and creates themed cookies for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, holidays. She coordinates coloring and comes up with a design plan for each order. Our cookies are made FRESH…Never Ever Frozen and I can tell you after taste testing a lot of cookies in my lifetime, there is no after taste with her cookies. It’s like melting butter goodness in your mouth always!
